In 2022, 2024 and 2025, PARC Communications implemented a series of communication campaigns for the Association of Companies of the Electronic Industry of Moldova (ACEM). The first phase was launched under the title “Electronics – Your Future!”. The campaigns were organized with the support of the Moldovan Government Economic Policy Consultation Project, implemented by GIZ Moldova with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Task:

Challenge:

Solution:

A series of consecutive communication campaigns was developed and implemented to raise awareness of the sector, motivate young people to choose careers in electronics and present the wider potential of the industry.

  • The agency developed the title and slogan of the first campaign “Electronics – Your Future!” – as well as key messages for different target audiences.

  • Video materials promoting careers in the electronics industry were developed and produced, then distributed through TV channels, online portals and social media.

  • For social media promotion, infographic cards were created about ACEM member companies, as well as fact-based and infographic cards about the electronics industry in Moldova.

  • A series of motivational videos was produced with opinion leader Dmitri Voloshin (Simpals), who develops successful projects in the field of electronics.

  • As part of the campaigns, media articles, success stories and video reports were produced about the electronics industry and about educational institutions in Moldova that train specialists for the sector.

  • In 2024, the communication was expanded to present more broadly the diversity of company activities and the wider potential of the industry.

  • In 2025, a dedicated campaign, “Women in Electronics”, was implemented to highlight women’s professional roles in the sector and to present the industry as a more open, modern and accessible professional environment.

  • The agency also developed branding and provided PR support for the industry forum Moldova Electronics Forum.

Result: 

The importance and prospects of the electronics industry became more visible to key audiences. The number of inquiries to ACEM from journalists increased, media interest in sector events grew, and the Association’s social media accounts gained more followers. The continued communication effort also helped make the sector more understandable for young people, present a wider range of professional opportunities and strengthen the visibility of women in the electronics industry.
